Prime Peer Editing, Translation & Formatting Support

Prime Peer Editing Services significantly increase the likelihood that your manuscript will clear peer review on the first attempt. Our specialists provide:

  • Advanced English-language polishing (grammar, tone, style)
  • Academic translation from multiple languages into publication-ready English
  • Journal-specific manuscript and reference formatting
  • Professional figure and graphical abstract preparation

Every file returned to the author is pre-screened with iThenticate to flag inadvertent text overlap before submission. A personalized similarity report is included so you can address any issues proactively.

Special Issue Guidelines

Special issues gather cutting-edge papers that converge on a defined scientific theme. Contributions arrive either in response to an open Call for Papers or by direct invitation from the Guest Editors.

Author Details Required with Each Submission

Field Information Needed
Contributing Author(s) Full name, all coauthors, professional title/role
Affiliation Institution/organization, department, country
Short Biography ≤ 150 words highlighting expertise relevant to the special topic

After acceptance, Prime Peer promotes the special issue broadly—through targeted email campaigns, social media, and indexing platforms—to maximize readership as soon as papers publish.

Guest editors give priority to topics representing breakthrough or rapidly evolving research areas, and authors receive timely status updates throughout peer review.

Reference Format: For special issues, follow the standard Prime Peer reference style (APA 7). Templates and examples are available in the Author Guidelines.

Special Issue Submission & Acceptance Workflow

  1. Call Announced: Calls remain open year-round; each lists a firm closing date.
  2. Presubmission Package: Authors submit a provisional list of planned papers plus an introductory overview. Each manuscript must include:
    • Bionote for every author
    • Authorship declaration
    • Structured abstract (Objectives | Methods | Results | Conclusions)
  3. Peer Review: Guest editors coordinate blinded review and may request additional data or clarifications.
  4. Provisional Scheduling: On acceptance, authors receive an anticipated publication slot within the target issue.

Publication Ethics & Plagiarism Policy

Prime Peer enforces the highest standards of research integrity:

  • Automatic Similarity Check: All manuscripts (including revised files) pass through Crossref’s Similarity Check (iThenticate).
  • Thresholds & Actions: Text overlap > 20 % triggers editorial investigation. Unattributed duplication, image manipulation, or data fabrication results in rejection and may prompt institutional notification or formal retraction.
  • Author Responsibility: Corresponding authors must certify that the submission is original, not under review elsewhere, and that all data are authentic. Third-party figures or large text excerpts require documented permission.

By integrating robust editing support with stringent plagiarism screening, Prime Peer streamlines the journey from draft to publication while safeguarding scholarly credibility. For questions, contact editing@primepeer.org or consult the full Author Guidelines.
