Aims and Scope
Neuroscience Innovations and Disorders (NID) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in all areas of neuroscience, with a particular emphasis on cutting-edge innovations and the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders.
NID seeks to serve as a vital platform for researchers, clinicians, and academics involved in basic, translational, and clinical neuroscience. The journal promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and welcomes contributions that span from molecular neuroscience to systems biology, neurotechnology, computational modeling, and neuropsychiatry.
We aim to foster the integration of novel discoveries with clinical applications that can improve the diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of individuals with neurological and neurodegenerative conditions.
Aims
- To publish high-quality research that advances the understanding of the brain, nervous system, and related disorders.
- To support interdisciplinary studies that link neuroscience with technology, genetics, behavior, and computational biology.
- To promote novel diagnostic tools, neuroimaging methods, and therapeutic approaches for treating neurological disorders.
- To disseminate data and discoveries that have a direct or potential impact on clinical neurology, psychiatry, and cognitive science.
- To accelerate the translation of neuroscience research into innovative therapies and interventions.
Scope
The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, technical reports, brief communications, and opinion pieces in the following focus areas (but not limited to):
- Neurodegenerative Diseases: Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, ALS
- Neuroinflammation and Immunology: CNS autoimmunity, glial biology, and neuroimmune responses
